Everything it does, and what it doesn't yet
What the app does today, and the two things it can't do yet. Every feature on this page works now.
It never guesses a number
Selling
Record a sale in seconds
Pick the customer, add what they bought, and choose cash, credit or part payment. Everything else on this page follows from that one step.
It works for goods on a shelf and for a job made to order, so a provisions shop and a tailor use the same screen.
Sell from your own online shop
Turn the products already in your book into a shop page, publish it, and share the link in your WhatsApp chats, your Instagram bio or on a card at the stall. Customers see what is in stock and order it themselves.
They pay online through Paystack when they order. The paid order comes into your book as a sale, against the right customer, taken from the right batch, with its cost attached. You set a delivery fee for each area you deliver to, and pickup can be free.
The online shop is on the Business plan and up, and on the seven-day trial, with shop banners and selling one product by the piece and the carton. To publish, you need a verified bank account for your payouts. See the plans.
Pickup or delivery, tracked
Every order shows whether it is being delivered or collected, and where it has got to: waiting, packed, on its way, or with the customer.

Pickup

- Packed
- Picked up
An order the customer collects goes straight from packed to picked up. It never shows as shipped.
You move each order along yourself. Maaz Buk doesn't book the rider or show your customer a live map.
Know exactly who owes you
One list of every customer who owes you money, with what they owe and when it is due. Give each customer a credit limit and a number of days. A sale that would take them over the limit is stopped, and so is new credit for a customer who is already overdue.Invoices and receipts
Download a clean PDF to print or send to your customer. It shows your business name, what they bought, what they paid and what is left.Staff roles
Give staff the roles they need: sales, manager or accountant. Someone with the sales role can record sales but never sees costs, margins or who owes what. The server enforces this, so it holds on every screen.
Stock and cost
Stock that knows its expiry date
Every batch carries its expiry date. A sale takes from the batch that expires soonest, and the expiring stock report shows what to sell before it spoils.
True cost to make
Record a production run with its materials, labour and other costs, and see what each unit really cost. When goods arrive, freight, duty and clearing are spread across that delivery, so your cost is what it took to get the goods to you.
- Lot A-07expires in 6 days24
- Lot A-09expires in 41 days96
- Lot A-11expires in 118 days140
The next sale takes from A-07, the batch that expires first.
What Maaz Buk worked out
₦186,000 of oil expires in the next six weeks. Sell it or discount it while it still has value.
Money
Money going out
Record expenses under categories you choose. Keep your suppliers in the book and see which ones you still owe, biggest first.
What you really made
Sales, less the cost of the goods and your expenses, for any period you pick. Turnover is only the first line; profit is the last. The full profit and loss is on Manufacturer and up, and every plan shows the margin on each sale.
Two businesses, one login
Switch between businesses without logging out. Their records, reports and totals stay separate.
Getting your records in
Import from a spreadsheet
Bring in products, customers and suppliers from a CSV file, using the template the app gives you. If a row is wrong, you get its row number and the reason, so you fix that one row.
412 rows imported.
Row 38: selling price is empty.
Row 114: “crate” is not one of your units yet.
Row 297: expiry date reads 31/09/2026.
3 rows not imported. Nothing else was changed.
Do the sums yourself
- How to work out what a crate of eggs costs you to produceFeed is the easy part. Whether ₦3,200 a crate is a profit depends on the costs nobody writes down: the birds that died, the diesel, the trip to the market. This guide puts the whole sum on one page.
- How to set a credit limit you will actually keepMost businesses here sell on credit, but few decide how much is too much, so the limit gets broken by the customer who is hardest to refuse. Three ways to choose a number, and how to stick to it without losing the customer.
- Landed cost: why the invoice price is never what the goods cost youThe supplier's invoice is only the start. Transport, clearing, loading and offloading all belong in the cost of the goods, and leaving them out makes every margin look better than it is.
- What records the Nigeria Tax Act says your business must keepFrom January 2026 small companies pay 0% company income tax, but every business still has to keep records, and for six years. What the law asks for, in plain words.
- How to add a product, bring in stock, set a price and record a saleYour first ten minutes in Maaz Buk, step by step: one product, the stock you already have, a selling price, and your first sale.
