Getting started
How do I get started?
Sign up in the app with your email or your Google account. Then start the free trial from the plan screen: seven days with every feature on, and no card. Start your free trial.
What happens when the trial ends?
Choose a plan to keep recording. If you don't, your account becomes read-only: you can still open everything you recorded, but you can't add anything new until you choose a plan.
Can I bring in my existing lists?
Yes. Import products, customers and suppliers from a CSV file, using the template in the app. If a row has a problem, you'll see its row number and what is wrong with it.
Using it
Will it work without internet?
Not yet. Maaz Buk needs a connection. On a weak connection it is safe to keep going: if the screen hangs and you tap twice, the sale is recorded once.
Can my customers order from me online?
Yes. Build a shop page from the products already in your book, publish it, and share the link wherever you sell. Customers order and pay online through Paystack, and each paid order comes into your book as a sale. You set a delivery fee for each area, and pickup can be free. Each order shows whether it is being delivered or collected, and moves from pending to packed, shipped and delivered, or to picked up. You arrange the rider yourself. The shop is on the Business plan and up, and on the free trial.
Do I need to understand accounting?
No. You record what you sold and what you spent, in your own words and your own units. Maaz Buk does the adding up.
How much data does it use?
Very little. It was built for a mid-range Android phone on a data bundle. This website has no video and no heavy images, and it serves its own fonts.
Can my sales staff use it without seeing my profit?
Yes. Someone with the sales role can record sales but can't see costs, margins or who owes what. The server enforces this, so it holds on every screen.
I run two businesses. Do I need two accounts?
No. Two businesses can sit under one login, and you switch between them without logging out. Their records and totals stay separate. Manufacturer covers two businesses, and Multi-outlet covers up to five.

What will it cost?

Who else can see my figures?
Only the people you add to your business, and only what their role allows. We don't sell your records or share them with lenders. If our support team ever needs to look into a problem on your account, access is read-only, time-limited and logged.
If I stop paying, do I lose my records?
No. You can't add new records, but you can still open and read everything you recorded before.
Who is already using it?
The Nigerian food manufacturing business it was built inside uses it every day, for real batches and real money.
